In this video I will share my experience using the Apple Watch Series 3 everyday for the past 6 months. I will go over the pros and cons, looking at display, features, durability, performance, storage, battery and more. All to help you decide whether the Series 3 is the right Apple Watch for you! Display. Series 3 offers two options; 42mm and 38mm. I choose 38mm in black because this fit more proportionately on my wrist and the darker colour works best with most outfits, from casual to formal. I found the screen not to be too small and very usable. Text is clear, can read messages and email. Images are detailed and rich in colour. The screen is also bright, easy read sunlight and dim to check time at night. On it’s own display is good, but not as good as the slightly more expensive Apple Watch SE (thinner bezels, larger display). Features. I love getting notifications on my wrist through the tap on the wrist. Raise to wake works very well. Do I miss always on display? Yes, when checking time discreetly but for me not worth the large price difference compared to the series 6 or series 7. Unlocking Mac with my watch is great! Responding to messages is easy, through dictation or emojis. ApplePay is always a plus! Stand reminders encourage you to stay active. Siri to set reminders and timers. Small things like this made me grow to appreciate having the apple watch on my wrist. Durability. Any scratches on the display? None. Any dents chips or dicoiuring on the frame? None. Silicone sports band has held up well too, showing only minimal signs of use. Performance. Currently on WatchOS 7, soon WatchOS8. I wish the Series 3 had more built-in storage.
