Stereo Blocks 2D to 3D Conversion HD

This anaglyph stereoscopic video was created from 2D footage that was converted to 3D using PFTrack, Maya and Nuke. After the footage was matchmoved in PFTrack, I used Maya to set up the stereo cameras and render out new views for the Left & Right eyes. I added some new CG foreground elements to enhance the feeling of scene depth with added parallax. Nuke was used to composite the elements, do colour corrections and create depth of field using a Z-depth pass rendered out of Maya. I filmed the sequence on my Canon 550D/T2i camera using my homemade drawer slide dolly rig.
