He joined the force in 1962 and then retired in 1992 as a Captain. Unfortunately he passed away of a heart attack in 1995. Recently, my aunt was going throw some stuff and came across his duty gun. She knew I was into guns so she asked if would like to have it. I said yes, and this is what she gave me. So much history in this gun its amazing. It is stamped 15-1 meaning it was manufactured in either 1959 or 1960. ENJOY
