BNSF 1060 East, from the Mississippi Palisades State Park Overlook on 4-21-2011 HD
Three "Dash-9s" pull an over 7,000 foot long stack train along the flooded Mississippi River toward Savanna, Illinois and beyond. This is, I believe, the South Seattle to Chicago train. Somewhat long at nearly six minutes. I value your opinions, so let me know what you think. Too long? I was able to move the third camera after the rear of the train came into view to shoot a zoomed in shot of the head end moving away. You do get a sense of how long the train is at times. And at the 5:20 mark, the entire train is momentarily in view.
