Cons: * Glossy polycarbonate back is likely to scratch over time, despite its scratch resistant coating. It also shows fingerprints relatively easily. Overall, the LifeProof NEXT is an excellent case for those who only need a basic amount of water resistance for their iPhone. If more water resistance than the iPhone’s built in 1 meter/30 minutes of water resistance is needed, true waterproof cases such as the LifeProof FRE should be considered, as they provide double that amount of protection, allowing 60 minutes of submersion at a 2 meter depth.
