Pilsner Urquell Brew-off: Czech Please | The Craft Beer Channel HD

The Craft Beer Boys get competitive! And drunk! In May we entered our first brewing competition -- with a professional brew and a space at a beer festival as the prize. Run by Pilsner Urquell, the guys who INVENTED modern lager, we were given a basic pilsner recipe to do with what we wanted. Some brewed dark lagers, some did uber-hopping. We went traditional with a subtle German/Czech cross with saaz and Kazbak hops.
