Bei der westböhmischen Stadt Pilsen denkt man gleich an das Bier „Pilsner Urquell“ und an die ehemaligen Škoda-Werke. Im Gegensatz zu dem Bier durchlebten die Škoda-Werke in den vergangenen 100 Jahren einen großen Wandel: von der einstmals größten Waffenfabrik der österreichisch-ungarischen Monarchie zum Herstellungsort für Lokomotiven, Busse und Straßenbahnen bis hin zum Raum für spielerische Wissenschaft heute. Gar nicht so sehr verändert hat sich hingegen Ota Heller: Mit seiner Trompete kehrt der leidenschaftliche Volksmusikant an den Ort zurück, an dem er 44 Jahre lang gearbeitet hat – mit der Entschlossenheit zu erzählen, solange sein Atem reicht.
