Switch Virtual Console May Never Happen HD

The longer we wait for Virtual Console the more it seems like it just might not happen on Switch...but is that a good thing? We would love to be able to play ALL classic Nintendo games on the go with our favorite hybrid console but would that mean that indies have a smaller chance of success?
