Are you looking for a game like P.T. for PC? Visage is that game, certainly the scariest horror game we’ve played since P.T. It sticks you in an empty house with lots of creaking doors and something horrible involving a camera flash. Feeling brave? Then let’s play Visage. Visage is in early access on Steam, so there are some doors we can’t go through - but that’s okay, as there are lots of doors we don’t want to go through. In one of the best horror games for PC we creep into bathrooms while something messes with the lights, we find an evil drawing in a cupboard and have a bit of a Ringu moment with a TV set. If you’ve been lookinf for a domestic horror game like P.T., SadSquare Studios have delivered. If Visage wasn’t such a scary game we’d probably complement it on some lovely graphics and sound design, but Matthew and Alice were too spooked for that. Rock Paper Shotgun aren’t brave at the best of times, but faced with a game like P.T. for PC - one of the scariest horror games ever made - we found it hard to push on at times. So don’t expect a Visage early access review any time soon. We’re too wimpy for that. We love horror games for PC, so please do suggest other hidden gems in the comments below - we’re thinking of doing a best PC horror games list and are looking for inspiration.
