14.10.2017
The School of Media, Art and Design launched their second annual 48-Hour Film Challenge on Tuesday, October 10th (the day after Thanksgiving) at noon. Seven MAD programs suspended most classes for this four-day week of filming. In total, 574 students participated under guidance from Media, Art & Design staff (a mix of FT and PT faculty, staff and admin). Each team was given a genre for their film, a line of dialogue, a prop, and a character type that must appear in the film. No two teams had the same parameters. Films were due on Thursday, October 12th at noon. All of the films were screened on the morning of Friday, October 13th @ 8:45am at the Oshawa Cineplex Odeon Theatre.
