Here is how to light your videos like a pro even without the proper equipment. I like the look of soft light, something about it feels cinematic and its easy on the eyes. For the light I’m using this floor lamp with daylight LED bulbs and place that behind the reflector, This is our key light, which spreads the light out and wraps around the face. I took a clamp light with another one of the LED bulbs clipped on some grease paper as diffusion. The key to a rich dark background is to not let any light hit the backdrop, you want to move the subject as far away from the background as possible.
