Reason for this statement is the fact that Nissan officials said that they will release the new Frontier after they rolled all of the models of the new Nissan Titan. Since we expect the new Titan at the end of the year, the new Nissan Frontier 2018 could be presented to the public in first couple months of 2018. There are some rumors that the new Frontier is going to borrow design from European version of Navara. Diesel version is also an option, since Nissan Titan XD comes with 5.0-liter Cummins and earlier versions of Frontier came with 2.8-liter 4-cylinder diesel. In order to become more competitive among other trucks its design had to be refreshed. However, diesel powerplant will improve fuel economy and towing capacity. 2018 Nissan Frontier review What is certain, the 2018 Nissan Frontier will come in two cab versions: King Cab and Crew Cab. It also will be available in two bed lengths: Regular and Long bed. With the current model, this pickup truck is available in eight exterior colors: Arctic Blue Metallic, Brilliant Silver, Cayenne Red, Forged Copper, Glacier White, Gun Metallic, Lava Red and Magnetic Black. Exterior Front fascia comes with recognizable chrome grille and with LED headlights and daytime running lights. Chrome sideview mirrors and door handles come with SL models. It also features tubular step rails and front LED fog lights. Higher trims come equipped with a power tilt and sliding moonroof. All models are equipped with a tailgate spoiler. The Frontier King Cab is available in five trim levels. The base S and SV models come with 2.5-liter inline-4 engine paired with either manual or automatic transmission. Other three models, Desert Runner (DR), SV and PRO-4X are powered by 4.0-liter V6 mated to 5-speed automatic gearbox except SV that comes with 6-speed manual.
