LifeProof FRE for iPhone 7 Plus: Great Audio Quality & Excellent Overall....with a Few Issues... HD

The LifeProof FRE for iPhone 7 Plus is an excellent case overall, and provides solid waterproof protection. http://tech-reviewer.com/lifeproof-fre-iphone-7-plus It doubles the amount of water resistance of the iPhone 7 Plus from 1 meter/30 minutes to 2 meters/60 minutes and its built in screen protector provides freedom from worry around sand, snow and dirt as well. However, as helpful as the built-in screen protector is, it does have certain drawbacks. It is prone to developing rainbowing in more humid conditions, its optical clarity is somewhat grainy and it is more prone to fingerprints and smears than a glass screen protector or your naked iPhone screen. In terms of usage, however, it is basically fine. You have to tap a little harder sometimes, but overall it is quite responsive and swiping, typing and 3D Touch are all fine. Overall, considering that it is a non adhesive plastic screen protector (generally the kiss of death for screen protectors), its performance is actually amazingly good. Pros: * 6.6 ft (2 meters) of drop protection. * Submersible to 6.6 ft (2 meters) for up to one hour. * New speaker grille design results in remarkably good audio quality. * Easy to install and remove. * Pleasant feel in the hand. * Screen protector is smooth under the fingertips, and typing, swiping and 3D touch work quite well, although not quite as well as on a naked iPhone screen. * Good amount of grip. * Lightweight and not overly bulky. * Comes in a variety of attractive color combinations. Cons: * Optical quality is slightly grainy. * Screen protector shows fingerprints and smudges relatively easily. * Rainbowing is an issue for the screen protector in more humid conditions. * Buttons are relatively stiff, but still quite usable. * Case will not lay completely flat on its back due to slightly raised protective area around the protruding camera. Overall, the LifeProof FRE for the iPhone 7 Plus is a very nice case. No waterproof case is perfect, and the FRE’s tendency to rainbow and somewhat grainy screen clarity could be improved upon, but its audio quality (a big issue with many waterproof cases) is excellent and it is an extremely usable case. Its strong waterproof protection and drop protection should do a great job in keeping your iPhone 7 Plus in pristine condition.
