Waterpik Battery Replacement Model WP-360

04.05.2013
Video shows how to replace the original 2.4V battery pack in a Waterpik® WP-360 battery powered flosser (a.k.a. oral irrigator) using two 1.2V Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The OEM battery pack utilized two 1.2V 4/5 Sub-C Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) batteries connected in series to create the desired 2.4V pack. The replacement batteries that were used here have twice the power capacity of the OEM batteries resulting in a much longer run time between charges. The original charger (3VDC, 100mA) is compatible with the replacement NiMH batteries. - OEM Nickel-Cadmium battery pack (Sanyo 2KR-1000SCL) specs: 2.4V (2 X 1.2V) 4/5 Sub-C NiCd 1000mAh - Replacement Nickel-Metal Hydride battery specs: 2.4V (2 X 1.2V) 4/5 Sub-C NiMH 2000mAh UPDATE (1/26/14): The new WP-360 has changed to AA size batteries.
