Rehabilitation Robotics Lab @ USF College of Engineering
The Rehabilitation Robotics Lab is run by Dr. Redwan Alqasemi and is part of the Center for Assistive, Rehabilitation & Robotics Technologies (CARRT). This is video shows a 9-degree-of-freedom Wheelchair Mounted Robotic Arm (WMRA) that can be controlled using a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) among other control methods. Wheelchair mobility and arm manipulation are combined together in a single redundant and optimized control algorithm. Virtual Reality simulation and the physical WMRA are shown.
