LIVENODING Procedural Doraemon Using Geometry Nodes in Blender 3D HD
#Doraemon #geometrynodes In this episode, I am sharing a breakdown of 3D Doraemon model that I created using Geometry Nodes, mostly using some Mesh Boolean and Transforms nodes. Doraemon is a futuristic robot cat from the future, beloved character created by manga artist Fujiko Fujio. Every Japanese knows Doraemon and every Japanese Kids should be able to draw Doraemon. In term of design, Doraemon is really super simple and made from modular parts of simple primitive shapes: 1. Eliptical balooney head 2. Necklace and Bells 3. Big red spherical nose 4. Cylindrical Limbs 5. Lots of Spheres 6. Stomach with Pocket 7. Ball Tail I made this version of Doraemon in about 1 hour time. It was a quick one I guess, just a matter of placing the right geometry at the right place for Boolean operation. There are a lot of tweak in order to stay close to original design. You can try making your own Doraemon and it will help you to understand and appreciate basic 3D Boolean modeling. Placement of objects, like pivot rotation and scale.
