KFC IN INDONESIA BETTER THAN KFC IN AMERICA? Made this video to showcase the differences between KFC in Indonesia, and KFC in the USA. KFC in the US is generally just a fast food, fast paced place, where a majority of people just do drive through. Often they are mixed with a Taco Bell, so you can order from either one. Here in Indonesia, KFC is more of an “upscale” fast food place, where the place is super clean, and people actually come here for family dinners. The variety of foods is crazy, and they have their own cafe, with coffee, tea and pastries on the second floor. That’s correct, a two floor building. They also had a kid’s play area, but that’s currently closed due to COVID-19 regulations. I tried individual snack buckets, with grilled soy sauce, spicy cheese and BBQ flavor. I also tried a Bento box with bbq flavor. The BBQ flavor was too sweet, so I had to use sambal to spice it up. The highlight was definitely the grilled soy sauce chicken. That was well worth it. I could’ve probably eaten three or four packs of them. I had lychee as well, and it had chunks of lychee in it. Respect ✊ for the effort they put into it. All in all, the food was better at the KFC here in Indonesia, simply because of they enjoy experimenting and willing to go somewhere. In the US, they tend to play it safe and keep the menu pretty much the same. I like the fact they have a cafe, and while not a smoker myself, they do offer a smoking section for people who do.
