This intense home workout is going to help you build muscle, and all we are going to be using are dumbbells and bands. This workout is already designed to ramp up the intensity, but I also need you to push yourself if you want to see results from this intense home workout with dumbbells and bands only. We are going to focus on working our arms in this intense home workout, however, you can apply this method for any muscle group. Let;s get started with the exercises in this intense home workout to build muscle in our arms using dumbbells and bands only. Exercise #1: ALTERNATING DUMBBELL HAMMER CURLS. I like to alternate because that helps use your mind muscle connection to really focus on each arm and work them individually. Do 8 reps on each side, and we are going to do 2 sets. Exercise #2: BANDED TRICEP PUSHDOWNS. Do 8 reps and 2 sets of this exercise. Really hold the contraction for a couple of seconds at the extension. Exercise #3: ALTERNATING BAND CURLS with a hold at the top. Having the hold at the top is really going to work your biceps because it is keeping the muscle under tension for a longer amount of time. We want these exercises to be intense because we want your muscles to feel the burn. Exercise #4: DUMBBELL SKULLCRUSHERS. You are not going to use a lot of weight in this exercise because the proper form is very important for this exercise. If you utilize proper form, you are really going to feel the burn. The last exercise is not going to be a single exercise. I want you to do all 4 exercises in a circuit, and with each exercise I want you to do as many reps as you can until failure. No rest in between each exercise, and that is really going to be the finisher for this intense workout at home to build muscle. This is a great workout for you to do at home because it is quick and intense. All you need are some dumbbells and resistance bands, and you are going to be able to build muscle at home.
