Tornado Warning!

On Aug 24, 2007, it was a hot summer day! Tornados to the west of us in the neighboring counties. Just a matter of time before the sirens sounded. This is the same storm that caused major damage in the Fenton, MI area, as well as creating a 4 hour rain delay at Comerica Park. The tornado will be near, holly state recreation area and 6 miles north of davisburg by 605 pm edt, ortonville by 610 pm edt, oxford, 7 miles north of lake orion and 8 miles north of bald mountain state recreation area by 625 pm edt, When a tornado warning is issued based on doppler radar, it means that strong rotation has been detected in the storm. A tornado may already be on the ground, or is expected to develop shortly.
