Railfanning Cassidy Street - 1/25/15 HD

After Railfanning at many crossings throughout North County, I decided to get one more off my checklist. I headed down to Cassidy Street in Oceanside on a nice Sunday afternoon. Amazingly, this crossing allows you to see not only the Oceanside Transit Center, but also the Carlsbad Village Station to the South, making it a very nice place to Railfan the high speed action and horns going through this crossing. Train 1 : Amtrak 573 with CabCar #6953 & F59PHI #458. Nice K5LA Action on CabCar #6953 ! Train 2 : Amtrak 768 with F59PHI #459 & CabCar #6908. Train 3 : Amtrak 777 with CabCar #6907 & F59PHI #453. Nice loud K5LA Action from the Engineer on CabCar #6907 ! Train 4 : Amtrak 572 with P42DC #44 & NPCU #90230. Very friendly Engineer and nice K5LA on P42DC #44 ! Train 5 : Coaster #685 with F59PHI #3002 & CabCar #2305. This Engineer was certainly trying to do full blast on the horn ! Train 6 : Coaster #688 with CabCar #2305 & F59PHI #3002. Notice the dimming of the Headlights meeting the Sprinter ! Train 7 : Amtrak 774 with F59PHI #450 & CabCar #6906. Very friendly Engineer and nice K5LA Action on F59PHI #450.
