Mass effect - Saren gets stuck, bug or part of the game?

Well, i was playing looking for a fast ownage when somehow, Saren gets stuck in 0:47 without receiving damage in few seconds. Really weird, maybe a bug or something new i haven´t seen before. At the beggining my aim isn´t the best, i know but didn´t play for a while. At least, i owned him like a puppet in the second part of the battle as i get used to the control. Insane = "Locura" difficulty setup in spanish version. A Nemesis Adept constantly using Lift + warp + Anihilation (rifle assault) can solve absolutly everything in this game.
