Pro Tools Registration and Activation HD

The main question I always get from anyone interested in using Pro Tools is how do I install it and get it to launch? Here is a step by step 1. Go to www.ilok.com and create your account 2. Download the ilok manager software and install 3. Launch and Login to your ilok manager software **REMEMBER YOUR ILOK ID** 4. Go to www.Avid.com 5. Click [SIGN IN] 6. On the right hand side create an account. 7. Now confirm your account and Sign In 8. Click the link for [Avid Software Activation and Download] 9. Enter your registration code inside the box If you Downloaded Pro Tools there is NO NEED TO ACTIVATE IT WITH A REGISTRATION CODE 10. Enter correct ilok ID so the Licesnse can be transferred 11. Download Pro Tools and any add ons available 12. Install all your Avid software 13. Open ilok License manager 14. Plug in Physical iLok USB key 15. Register the ilok usb key to your account on ilok manager 16. Look for the tab that says AVAILABLE for your new pro tools license 17.
