Axial Bomber RR10 - Testing Air Filled Beadlocks Tires At Park HD

This is not a typical production level video as it was merely just an RC addict (aka Joe) couldn’t resist sneaking out from the office on a Friday afternoon to try out these new Air Filled Beadlock tires at the park near the office. There were no rocks around to crawl but I wanted to find out how these tires would handle on some bad driving such as pinning the throttle and toss around the bomber on dirt and grass. I was also interested in finding how these foamless tires hold up on the side wall during hard cornering. Given these tires and wheel were dirt cheap from ebay I was not expecting much but then I was surprised by how well it handled taking hard cornering (when tires are pumped with air). The rig did had problem flipping over when going side way catching on grass but it handled very well on dirt. Anyway, this isn’t a full review of these tires but it was merely just fun time wheeling around. As you can see at the end of the video when tire pressure was lowered it would easily roll over and crash. I am getting this ready for some track time in the upcoming week so stay tune for running footage of this rig on these tires when I take it to local U4 style track at the Dropzone. Btw I had taped these tires from inside since they they are so soft to prevent them from ballooning too much. The second reason is to allow more air pressure inside to support the side walls.
