Watch how this high precision mill-turn multitasking turning machine operates and turns a piece of raw material into a finished workpiece. The twin spindle which operates at up to 6,000 RPM allows the MY-TURN to execute front and back machining of a part. Both, the main and the sub-spindle offer C-Axis functions with an indexing accuracy of 0.001°, and are compatible with collet chucks and 3-jaw chucks. The 12-position turret, driven by a Fanuc servo motor, in combination with the C-axis function, allows this CNC turn-mill turning center to perform efficient milling, drilling, turning and tapping operations. The 45° slant saddle facilitates chip disposal and also provides a solid support for the turret. The main spindle is supported by two angular contact ball bearings and one double-row cylindrical roller bearing at the front end which absorbs radial and axial forces. An additional double-row cylindrical roller bearing is located at the rear end of the spindle to ensure stability, rigidity, and accuracy. All structural components of the MY-TURN series are manufactured from high-quality Meehanite cast iron which minimizes deformation and ensures high rigidity. This is further supported by the massive bed and a base with excellent vibration dampening.
