Wild Horses - observing a stallion and his behavior in a band HD

20.09.2014
Wild stallion and his behavior in the band. He is part of this band of 6 mares with foals and a few young mares (1y old) Pecking order, Alpha, competition for who is the boss? We and many, many other observers did not see this behavior, does it make it less spectacular, probably for some people yes. Somehow everybody has an opinion about animals fighting, in scientific words called agonistic. But is that the way they live? When it comes to Horses people say they hit their horse, kick their horse, make him afraid because nature is doing the same. They claim that in nature horses fight for dominance, leadership and thats what, according to those trainers, happens all the time. WRONG ! Nature is not what many people think, nature means for horses to get the best out of life and join together. So they have a chance to stay healthy and survive as individuals. Sorry to spoil some dreams about the fighting horses, I know many people love fights, but we, and many other observers during the past years did not see that. The difference in between domesticated horses and wild horses is that the horses in the wild are mature when it comes to behavior. They do not need to fight, they need to live.
