A Special Festival with the Marines / Life Begins at 60 / Creating Masterpieces with Fire and Clay/ 해병대와 함께하는 특별한 축제/ 노래하는 다섯 할배들/ 흙과 불의 예술, 도자기 장인 [ A Special Festival with the Marines ] A special festival is held in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province every year. It’s none other than the Pohang Marine Corps Cultural Festival, which consists of a wide variety of events and programs. Kicking things off is a car parade with the participation of the marines, citizens and members of the ROK Marine Corps Veterans Association, and there are military equipment and vehicles on display for people to check out. Visitors also get a chance to try on the Marine Corps uniforms and engage in various other hands-on experience programs. [ Life Begins at 60 ] There is a group of five elderly men who have opened the second chapter of their lives. They are G.O.Age that’s been dubbed "Halbae-dol," meaning the "Grandpa Idol Stars." Comprised of men in their 60s and 70s, the quintet teamed up and launched their singing careers to follow their passion for music. In September 2017, they even released their first-ever album. They are currently working on their second album, while busking and performing at events to interact more closely with the public. We take you to meet these elderly gentlemen, who are looking to start the "K-grandpop" craze. [ Creating Masterpieces with Fire and Clay ] The Icheon Ceramics Festival, a celebration of the rich ceramic traditions of Korea, is being held in the city that’s well-known for being home to Korean pottery. It’s a chance for pottery enthusiasts to check out a broad range of ceramic artworks created by amateur artists and master potters from all over the world. There is even a workshop where domestic potters and 14 foreign potters from 9 countries get to share their knowledge and techniques and learn from one another. After being molded into shape, the ceramics must withstand high heat to be turned into exquisite works of art, and we take you to meet Choi In-kyu, a master potter who has dedicated his entire life to ceramic art. [ 해병대와 함께하는 특별한 축제! ] 경상북도 포항에서는 해마다 특별한 축제가 열린다, 바로 해병대가 참여하는 해병대 문화축제! 해병대 1사단이 포항에 주둔하면서 시작된 축제는 해병대가 펼치는 다양한 행사들이 이어지는데... 해병대와 시민들, 해병대전우회가 함께 하는 카 퍼레이드를 시작으로, 고공낙하시범, 의장대, 군악대, 무적도 시범이 눈앞에서 펼쳐지고, 실제 해병대의 특수 장비를 만져 보는가하면, 아이들이 직접 탱크를 타고, 해병대 군복을 입고, 군장을 싸는 병영 체험까지 할 수 있어, 이 특별한 축제를 놓치지 않으려는 시민들의 발길이 이어진다. 늠름한 대한민국 해병대와 함께 하는 포항에서의 특별한 하루를 소개한다. [ 인생은 즐겁게~ 노래하는 다섯 할배들 ] 황혼의 문턱에서 제 2의 인생을 멋지게 꾸려가는 다섯 할배들이 있다. 평균나이 69.2세, 일명 ‘할배돌’로 불리는 지오아재 멤버들이다. 현역에서 은퇴한 60, 70대 다섯 할아버지로 구성된 지오아재는 젊은이와 같은 열정으로 노래를 부르자는 의미로 그룹명을 지어 활동하기 시작! 지난 2017년 6월에는 팀 결성 1년 4개월 만에 꿈에 그리던 음반도 발매했다. 현재는 2집 앨범을 준비하며 각종 공연과 버스킹 공연을 하며 사람들에게 노래와 추억을 선물해주고 있다는데~ 숫자는 나이에 불과하다는 할배들, 인생을 노래하는 그들의 일상을 담아본다.
