Weather in 5 Heatwave, Severe Weather 4th of July Holiday Weekend Outlook HD
Today begins a 3 day heat wave of highs in the low to mid 90s from the Mid Atlantic to New Enshould gland with only a small chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm. Severe weather risk for the Northeast on Wednesday as an upper trough and slow moving cold front approaches. That front will stall out at the end of the week bringing waves of downpours and thunderstorms beginning later Thursday and lasting into the 4th of July weekend. Low pressure off the Georgia/South Carolina coast is moving westward and should move inland late today or tonight. There is a small chance this system could organize into a tropical depression or even a tropical storm before moving inland.
