Land Rover random engine turning off problem sorted. Solved. Fixed HD

Land rover discovery 2 TD5 engine cuts out and immobilizes the engine for a few minutes. This happened 6 times in one day. The engine cut out and the hazards came on and the engine will not restart. The Immobiliser needs to be reset using the key fob and turning the key in the ignition barrel to allow the car to turn on. At least until it stops again The problem all along was the inertia switch. a combination of acid from the previous battery and heat from the turbo and exhaust seems to have caused this switch s plastic to crack and crumble over time and fail. Thinking about it every time it failed I was either rapidly accelerating, going around bends fast, going up steep hills, off-roading and changing gears when taking off fast. All of the above would set off the faulty inertia switch or fuel cut-off switch. Please see the video below to see some of the times the engine cut out randomly.
