Read more: http://www.thediyworld.com/blog/?p=1432 Joe from NJ came up to help on The Off Grid Project. Joe is the LED lighting guy I mentioned about two weeks ago. Joe is now taking orders for off grid solar LED lighting. You can contact him at: janelleandjoe at yahoo (dot) com TJ and Joe completed the rain water collector and reinforced it very nicely. Now it is strong and looks much better. It now has three panels to collect more rain water. The two of them also completed the solar shower in the meadow. Now we can take free hot showers powered by the sun. I worked in the RV cleaning and putting things back together. I also found another part of the huge ant nest that was in there before I got the RV. The little Harbor Freight 800 watt portable generator got a good workout with all of us using it. I was vacuuming the RV while the guys used it to cut pallet wood for construction materials. With a simple spark plug change out of the box this little generator performs well. I started to replace some of the fixtures in the RV to prepare for the big move in. I hope to move into my RV by the end of the month, which is very close. Too close.
