No Knot Air Balloon | English | Simple Lock
We are going to see a very clever method of tying an inflated balloon without a knot. You need a stiff card piece 5-cm square and a piece of thread. Normally after inflating a balloon you tie a knot. Often this knot is very difficult to open and so the balloon cannot be reused. But there is clever way of reusing the balloon. Make a small hole in a stiff card with a scissors. Then inflate the balloon and loop a thread on its neck. Take both the ends of the balloon and weave it through the hold of the stiff card. As the pull the thread ends the neck of the balloon will come through the card. This doubled up neck will act as a lock and prevent the balloon from deflating. The balloon will remain inflated without tying a knot on its neck. By pulling out the balloon from the card you can deflate the balloon. You can hang the balloon for a long time and it will remain inflated. In a similar way you can also tie the mouths of two balloons in a way that you can reuse them again. For opening the balloon, pull the neck from the card hole, remove the thread and the balloon will deflate. This is a good way to lock the mouth of a balloon. You can even play with this balloon.
