Why I Love Onlive Comparing The Witcher running Native on my PC to running it on Onlive HD
Some Elitist PC gamers out there will be thumbing this down as usual. The truth is out there though. The majority of people dont want to pay several hundred dollars more to make their PC rig ready for PC games. This is just a demonstration of a regular PC trying to run the witcher on PC vs Onlive, not some high end rig. The Witcher joined the Onlive Playpack today, which is an optional monthly subscription service which has 80 games included as of this video, and costs 9.99 a month. In addition to the games, you also receive a 30% discount on all Playpass purchases, whether for rental or full game, meaning the Playpack can easily pay for itself if you buy any full priced games, since a $50 game costs $35 when you factor in the discount. I also bought The Witcher from GOG.com during its introductory sale which was $5. The game on gog.com is normally $10. At the same price with the Onlive Playpack, you also get access to Bioshock, Homefront and Fear 3 Multiplayer, Just Cause 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Borderlands, Deus Ex, and more. You can demo free at Onlive.com, and the Onlive service will soon be in the UK. Also new games like Deus Ex Human Revolution will be launching day and date with the service and why pay $60 for it on XBOX or PS3 when its $35 on Onlive?
