Barrel stove kit - another but best 55 gallon drum stove build! HD

This is our version of the barrel stove kit. We built it because we needed a stove for the shop since we don’t like to come outside when it is cold (for us that is below 50 degrees F) and the little tent stove just wasn’t working out for us. We will try the single barrel first and if we need more heat we will go back and add the second barrel kit later. Our recommendations: Buy a barrel with no ribs and banded lid. The banded lid makes installation easier and when cleaning all you have to do is remove the band and lid sweep all the ash out and replace lid. If you do not need that then you could just go straight for the USB version and wouldn’t need the phantom power or extra cables.
