Gaeilge is rich in idiomatic phrases many of which would not have a direct English equivalent. They offer an interesting insight into the language and the mind-set that created the language. A challenging aspect of learning a language is moving from the book or Internet to the real-life situations and interacting face to face with other people. Confidence is key to this and being comfortable with using these unique phrases goes a long way towards building confidence Cathal just loves teaching these idiomatic phrases as they get to the very essence of the language.
