Life Threatening Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children MIS C Emergency HD

In this video we present the case of a 14 year old male with multisystem inflammatory Syndrome. The patient appeared to be in septic shock and was hypoxic and hypotensive. We used the LifeFlow device to rapidly deliver resuscitative fluids, pulse doses of epinephrine and an epinephrine drip to treat this patient. Ultimately, in the PICU this patient deteriorated and was intubated for a week. Thankfully, he has made a complete recovery and should be returning to playing sports soon.
