KÖLN Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedrale)

Zu meinem 100.Video präsentiere ich heute nicht nur die meistbesuchteste Sehenswürdigkeit in NRW, sondern auch die von ganz Deutschland; den Kölner Dom. Es ist nicht nur das dritthöchste Kirchengebäude der Welt, sondern auch aus kunsthistorischer Sicht etwas besonderes. Denn obwohl der Bau des Doms schon im 13. Jahrhundert begann, wurde er erst im 18. Jahrhundert fertig gestellt. So ist die vordere Doppelturmfront weitgehendst des Industrie-Zeitalters, obwohl nach den alten Plänen entworfen. Die riesige Fläche der Westfassade ist bis heute unübertroffen. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn auch sehr anstrengend ist im übrigen auch die Turmbesteigung, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf Köln und den Rhein.
