Belt and Road Forum---the opening of a new era HD

Twenty-nine foreign leaders and more than 1,500 delegates from over 130 nations attended the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing over the weekend. Chinese President Xi Jinping called the Belt and Road Initiative “the project of the century” in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony on Sunday. He promised that China will create a new model of co-operation and mutual benefit through the advancement of the framework. However, some critics are skeptical about China’s goals.
