iPhone 4S : iOS 8.4.1 vs iOS 9.3.3 Final Release Build 13G34 HD

The adoption rate for iOS 9 is still very impressive. According to Mixpanel.com it is currently at 92.27%, and there are still 4.92% of users still on iOS 8,and 2.81% on iOS 7 or older. Many people are holding back from upgrading as they fear that their device will get slow, and with good reason. Moving from iOS 6 to 7, and iOS 7-8 surely gave the older devices a drop in performance. But has the newly release iOS 9.3.3 done anything to bring performance up when compared to iOS 7.1.2 and iOS 8.4.1 ? Conclusion : iPhone 4S still boots faster on iOS 8.4.1, and is much faster running most apps. So if you care about speed you should most likely stay on 8.4.1. So far most apps still support 8.4.1, but at some point that will stop.
