Have trouble holding your iPhone? Seidio Dilex Pro Review - iPhone 6/6 Plus HD
We really like this iPhone case even though its not drop-rated. Those little notches in the back of the case make a big difference! Check out our case comparison tool! http://www.mobilereviews-eh.ca/top-iphone-6-case-comparisons/ Need the full story? http://www.mobilereviews-eh.ca/seidio-dilex-pro-review-iphone-6-6-plus/ Today we’re going to do the review the Sedio Dilex Pro for the Iphone 6 and 6 Plus. This is a slim case from Sedio though they do say it’s protective with fancy words like HexGuard but this is not a substitute for tougher cases like the Ballistic Tough Jacket or Urbanite. Right off the bat, I’m a big fan of this case even though my iPhone got KO’d during a 3ft drop off my bed. The texture of the case is really nice and the design of the case greatly improves the handling of your iPhone. The kickstand on the case works decently but only in one direction. Based on our time with this case, we gave this case a score of 4.2 Eh’s out of 5. This case is a great alternative to Apple’s Silicone case and you get much more for less money which is a win-win but if you’re looking for something tougher, then check out the Tech 21 cases or a Thule Atmos X3. At Mobile Reviews Eh, we base our reviews on actual usage so you’re not going to get an unbox+hands video with us. We’re pretty big fans of Sedio and they were awesome enough to send us to case for review so it’s going your way in a draw. As a side note, the Seidio Obex, which they never made for the 5S, only 5, was one of my favourite iPhone cases. Slim but still offered drop and water protection. In terms of design, this is a really thin case as it’s not much thicker than Apples silicone case but the crazy thing is that it has two layers to the case. The case fits well together and the back seems fairly scratch resistant which makes it wear a little better than other cases. In terms of protection, despite having a Hexguard technology which is this honeycomb pattern on the interior TPU, it’s not drop rated and we know that since our iPhone plus has a mangled corner. For dust, even though it fits well together, there is a cutout on the back of the case that leaves the iPhone exposed. I’m generally not a fan of the case but at least you can see the apple logo, unlike the cutouts on the Urban Armor Gear which results in a shiny square and the word phon. The Seidio Dilex Pro also doesn’t offer much in terms of screen protection. The edges of the case are very low so it might be worth grabbing a screen protector for this case as Seidio doesn’t include one. On this case, I have an Amzer Kristal screen protector which overs edge to edge protection and the Dilex Pro doesn’t get in the way. For functionality, getting to your iPhone is a breeze in this case. The buttons still allow you to feel the click of the buttons, the hard ports are large enough to accommodate slightly larger than average headphone jacks and lightning cables. The kickstand on the case only works in landscape mode a
