Nvidia drivers slowing down - Retrospective Windows 98 GPU and driver benchmarks HD

Absolutely shocking. Recently I worked with some early Pentium 4 systems and used a high performance GeForce FX graphics cards, thinking that it would max out the system. Well turns out that I was wrong and that later drivers of newer graphics card have some surprises in store. This is a retrospective using graphics cards ranging from the RIVA TNT2 to the FX 5950 Ultra with 8 different drivers across the Windows 98 support cycle.
