A Trip on the Mobilus ART during the IMBRT Pilot Testing Programme (4K 60fps HDR) HD

As part of the Iskandar Malaysia Bus Rapid Transit (IMBRT) Pilot Testing Programme, a total of 9 different models of electric and biodiesel buses are being tested over a 3 month period. The pilot testing programme started on 8 April 2021 at Iskandar Puteri to test the buses’ capability and demonstrate the use of green technology, in line with Iskandar Malaysia’s and Johor’s goal of modernizing its public transportation system. The Mobilus Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) is a hybrid between an electric bus and a trackless tram. The ART allows for higher passenger capacity of 300 passengers with 3 carriages and expandable to 5 carriages to carry 500 passengers.
