Raspberry Pi Turning on a Fluorescent Lamp Through SSH Internet Connection HD

In this video I turn on a fluorescent lamp from my laptop. It is connected to the Raspberry Pi through a solid-state relay on one of the GPIO pins. The Pi is physically connected to my router with a LAN cable. I will post a video where I use a Wi-Fi dongle connected to the PI shortly.
