Melvena sang at the original Old Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. She presented cowboy legend, Roy Rogers the California State Senate Award for 50 Years in Show Business. She received the Bronze Halo Award from California Motion Picture Council and the Golden Platter Award from Hollywood Appreciation Society. Melvena Kaye was the 3rd woman to receive the Iron Eyes Cody Peace Medal. Her handprint, bootprint and signature are in the Iverson Movie Ranch Walk of Fame. Recently Melvena released 11 self penned songs on a cd called "Just One Little Kiss," Produced by Grammy award winning producer Pete Anderson.
