3281 Km | PRICETAG 2019 € 175.000,- This Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Series 1 Coupé finished production on the 18th March 1964 and was exported to Canada. We can trace the owner’s history from the accompanying documentation. Between 2013 and 2015 this E-Type underwent an exhaustive, professional ‘Bare-Metal’ restoration. Mechanically speaking the condition of the Jaguar is perfect and in even better shape than when it was new. The engine, gearbox, overdrive, carburettors, brakes and the whole of the suspension as well as all other parts were completely overhauled. To enhance the Jag’s driving pleasure a 5-speed gearbox with a lower gear ratio was fitted. A Dutch specialist carried out this restoration. Neither effort nor cost was spared during this extensive restoration. The bodywork is as straight as an arrow with perfect body panel fittings. In keeping with the rest of car, the underbody is as good as new. The whole overhaul and restoration has been documented with many photos and invoices. It has inly run 3,282 km since restoration. It has an ‘Opalescent Silver Grey’ finish and ‘Dark Red’ leather interior trim. This E-type has its original, matching numbers, 3.8 engine. All confirmed by Jaguar Heritage. We cannot class this E-Type with its phenomenal finish other than being in absolute concourse condition.
