Although all his rooms are full, the innkeeper invites Mary and Joseph into the warmth and safety of the stable where Jesus is born. Later, in their own moment of wonder, Mary and Joseph welcome the shepherds and wise men into their midst to worship the newborn King – a King who would become the ultimate example of loving others and inviting all people to God’s table.
