BOILING HOT! | Washing Dreadlocks In Hot Water? (Baking Soda + ACV Rinse) HD

Today I wash my dreadlocks in HOT boiling water with baking soda and Apple Cider Vinegar! ... Yep. Clearly, I am crazy lol. But before you give me the side eye, let’s see if this REALLY works for buildup removal for locs! … If you’re wondering WHY I am doing this to my dreadlocks, I have recently battled dirt and residue buildup. (According to Natural Living Ideas, “The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar is a potent antimicrobial which can kill bacteria and fungus, common underlying causes of dandruff and hair loss, making it a fantastic natural cure.”  Best for clarifying hair (especially if you are like me and use a lot of Eco Styler gel or other hair products like gels, pomades, oils, hair sprays and masks.)  Brings out curl patterns (for loose hair textures)  Great for detangling the hair (also for loose hair textures)  Smooths the hair shaft (say goodbye to frizz)  Prevents hair issues like hair loss, split ends and breakage With these things considered, using Apple Cider Vinegar for my hair has been nothing less than a positive experience.
