Lathe Machine ID Tag Restoration South Bend, Atlas HD

Here I go over how I restored the ID plates and charts for my south bend heavy 10. I am working on a plate for an Atlas lathe in the video, but it is the same basic concept. One thing to note is that I used Rust-Oleum Industrial enamel on the South Bend plates and that seemed to hold a shine much better than the implement paint that I used for this Atlas plate. You can also put a coat of clear coat over this when you are finished if you want everything to stay nice and shinny, and it will shine up any paint too! Copyright Precision Machine Shed 2016
