Chicken Curry With Coconut Milk -Chicken Mappas HD

https://www.facebook.com/MiaasKitchen Ingredients Chicken cleaned and cut into medium pieces - 1/2 kg Coconut milk - 1/2 of a coconut Onion chopped - 1nos. Garlic crushed - 5nos. Ginger crushed - 1 large Curry leaves - 1 sprig Green chilli - as needed Tomato - 1/2 Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp. Chilli powder - 2 tbsp. Coriander powder - 2 tbsp. Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp. Pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp. Ingredients for tempering Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp. Shallots - 3nos. Curry leaves Method Heat coconut oil in pan. Add chopped onion,ginger, garlic,curry leaves and green chillies.Saute for a couple of minutes. Add turmeric powder,saute for about a minute at low heat.Add coriander powder and saute till fried. Add chilli powder followed by pepper powder.Saute till fried. Add Chicken ,1/2 of garam masala and salt.Mix it well.Cover and cook till the chicken is half done. Add coconut milk to the chicken and turn the heat to high.Cover and cook till it boils. Add chopped tomatoes.Check seasoning and add the remaining garam masala and salt. Turn heat to medium.Cover and cook for about 5 minutes.switch off the flame and move to a serving dish. Heat oil in another pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Add shallots and curry leaves.Saute till fried. Pour it over the chicken curry. Serve hot and enjoy!!
