See how Renee’s determination to get through the emotional deaths of her father and mother at a young age, followed by the death of her husband has earned her the Amway Hero Award for Determination. Renee came from a musical family and has used her music and the power of her family and faith to power through the struggles she has gone through. The night of her mother’s funeral, she was in a dark place and felt very alone. She prayed to God that she find a husband to help guide her out of her depression and start a family of her own. Renee married the love her of life Alan in 2008. In 2013, Alan tragically was killed in a car accident. Renee has been determined to stay happy in life and continue to create a positive live for her own children. Renee is determined to not let life get her down and to create new memories and a difference in this world. We applaud your determination to not let your circumstances define you, Renee.
