Lochgelly to Loch Leven and back HD
It was such a nice day on the 5th November 2011 I took my wife and youngest granddaughter to Loch Leven Larder for a cuppa and to try out the mobility scooters they have to let people with mobility problems access the paths around the Loch and its free though you do have to fulfill certain criteria. I did find the scooters a bit small for my almost 6` but it got me there. I live in Lochgelly, Fife, Scotland and this road trip started there and followed the Ballingry route to Loch Leven going around the east side of the Loch and on to Kinross. (We passed Portmoak gliding club on the way to Scotland Well and saw a glider taking of. I don`t know if there is still a well at Scotland Well but there used to be a wishing well there). We popped into Kirkgate Park. I don`t know if you still but you used to be able to get a boot over to the island where Mary Queen of Scots was held. From there we headed towards Kelty but turned of just before getting there to go along the hill road to Ballingry and back to Lochgelly. The video is 65 minutes long and is over 23 miles.
