Video: Man panics as elevator shoots up 31 storeys in seconds

A Chilean man was injured on Saturday after a lift shot up 31 storeys in 15 seconds and slammed into the ceiling of a building in the capital Santiago. Security footage released by Chilean police on Tuesday showed the man entering the lift and pressing a button. The outer doors close and the lift starts moving up before the inner doors of the elevator have closed. The man then frantically starts pressing all the buttons as the lift starts moving up and the doors reopen showing the floors of the building shooting by. The man continues hitting buttons until the recording suddenly stops at the point the lift smashed into the ceiling at the top of the lift shaft. Local media reported the man was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries after being rescued by firefighters. What is in the news today?
